the assault involved more than minimal planning

+2 levels

Weapon usage in assault

Option A: a firearm was discharged +5 levels

Option B: a dangerous weapon (including a firearm) was otherwise used +4 levels

Option C: a dangerous weapon (including a firearm) was brandished or its use was threatened +3 levels

the victim sustained bodily injury

Bodily Injury +3 levels

Serious Bodily Injury +5 levels

Permanent or Life-Threatening Bodily Injury +7 levels

degree of injury between Bodily Injury and Serious Bodily Injury +4 levels

degree of injury between Serious Bodily Injury and Permanent or Life-Threatening Bodily Injury +6 levels

Note: The cumulative adjustments from application of subdivisions (2) and (3) shall not exceed 10 levels.
